True and those who tell us that drilling would take 10 years and yield little are so full of S... The idea that it would take ten years is absurd. In the 4 years (less, really) we were fighting WWII one can look at what we accomplished in this country in creating, literally, the military-industrial complex. Yesterday, Obama said that we cannot develop "alternatives" unless the government puts money into it. This is nonsense; the Pickens Plan proves it -- he is putting billions of his own, and investors' money, into [the best of the ] alternatives -- and we really don't have to have taxpayers funding it.
