It's always been that way but we've never been better at protecting the environment as we are now. No one wants oil washing up on the beach. We have to do all this as environmentally responsibly as possible. I don't want drilling unless it's part of a master plan with two goals. 1. Get us off foreign oil AMAP. 2. Bridge us off oil in say 25 years. Fossil fuels in say 50. Not that there won't always be fossil fuels available.
