I've not heard of them. My sausage turned out wonderfully. You love it when your first experiment is a home run! Some of the best I've ever had in fact. I'll make a 5lb batch next time and stuff 3 lbs or so for Italian sausage sandwiches.

It only takes me minutes to whip up 2 12" crusts so it's really not a big deal. I can hardly get a drink mixed before the mixer is done doing it's thing:)

Trader Joe's sells dough in their deli section.

We use Jiffy Pizza mix for our home made pizza. It's really good.

Trader Joe's sells pizza dough. I've also bought it at local Italian delis. The Trader Joe's dough is very good. Costs a buck or so.
