Black Swan where on earth did you find any evidence to back up that funny equation? And, secondly, note commodities might go up even amongst recessions.... the 70s had a few and were a commodity investors heaven at the same time. It´s all about the imbalance of SUPPLY and DEMAND and STOCKS on hand. The articles usually posted by allevett shows it like it is...unless you are a true Cornucopian... in which case you can vote for Obama first thing and oppose offshore and Alaska drilling bans forever Tata and their stupid 3thousand dollars cars for poors tells the story these days, not a mild recession amongst US... Of course prices will fluctuate...both up and down.,.. on the later it will give ocasion to the idiot talking heads on the media to say it was all a bubble... havent seen a better time to buy in ages.... rgds
