Can't really argue with that. But that doesn't fit in with our "screw you Jack, I've got mine" mentality that we have had for the past few decades. You know, we really aren't a civilization but a collection of individuals. Ask Tenchu if you don't understand.

Granted, if we were to dedicate ourselves to solving this problem we could do so in a short period of time. But that would require dedicating ourselves to doing it and pulling together as a country. However, that isn't respecting the invisible hand of the market place. That, in fact, is socialism. That is deciding that we, as a people, have to do something in particular. That smacks of socialism, not libertarianism.

Get with the program, Jim. You obviously aren't conservative enough.

If you think we can do it faster, you need to contact Bush and the DOE asap. Get them to agree with you so they can revise the report.
