I had knee surgery after an automobile accident in a matter of days....my daughter had a blown ACL for several years before deciding to get it repaired; she had to wait 2 months. I had rotator cuff problems with lots of pain and couldn't get the surgeon I wanted for more that 2 months....I substituted another guy who did 1 month later. Incidentally in, arguably, the best orthopedic hospital in the country, ie Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC. If we have an accident and injure a joint,we can't get an appointment with an orthopedist for more than a month...any orthopedist in our area...
