DMA...how can one tell what is rational or irrational without the aid og LT hindsight.

i am sorry to be hard on you but explain how you can prove todays sentiment in either rational or irrational in the long term.

frankly, all you can do is give your opinion based on imperfect knowlege of the market and global political situation......

to believe that to be rational is irrational....unless you believe yourself to be clairvoyant

I will add that nobody intentionaly invests irrationally...that should be obvious.

circumstances change over time .... turning what might have been an appearently rational decision into shear and utter folly.ie Credit derivitaves
