Sometimes laws aren't neccessary, only proper guidance, education and safety precautions are...

Moose, you are probably aware that a 14 year old boy in Western WA recently shot and killed a hiker because he thought the woman was a bear. Of course, because of 2nd Amendment supporters, we have no law against 14 year old kids hunting without being accompanied by their parents.


Not aware of that example of inadequate safety training. Safety training will prevent problems like that. Violating or suppressing Second Amendment freedoms will not.

I started hunting when I was 12, carried my first pistol when I was thirteen, bought my first big bore pistol when I was 14 and started hand loading for it when I was 16. I hunted and trapped alone all that time. Never had an accident. Never hit anything I didn't intend to.
