why hasn't he done a DNA test? Because it's not his, and the test would have blown Edwards' cover. Young may have thought that just "saying so" was a good enough cover, and may have funneled money to Hunter, but didn't want to get stuck with supporting a kid that's not his, so no name on the birth certificate. Stout denial worked well enough for Edwards until he was dumb enough to get caught visiting Hunter in the Hilton at 2 am.
