If I cash out my pay check and burn it on wild partying, my profit from working was not reduced, it was just used up. Sure it was reduced. Listen Tim, it's a way of thinking that will help you become more wealthy. Think of yourslf as a company with revenue and expenses (including entertainment expense) and net profit (savings). When you analyze your finances in this way you will make better expenditure decisions. An old guy who has been around the block is giving a young guy some good advice; quit arguing and say "thank you".
