Yes, that ultra-deep water, sub salt-layer oil will indeed be very valuable. It better be, because it's going to take gazillions to extract the stuff and shuttle it. (I assume there's no plan for a pipeline system that far away from shore).

I think the CEO of Petrobras must have got his first bills for all the test-drilling recently. His comments to the press several weeks ago that 125 oil was looking "cheap" was a signal.

I'm delighted PBR and Brazil have found all that expensive oil. It's just another brick in the wall of a quickly escalating cost level, of the incremental bbl. I currently have that level at 90.00. Higher than most. But, not that much higher.
