During the same gaffe about the 57 states, BO commented that he'd really like to visit Hawaii and Alaska, but his staff wouldn't "let" him. That was my reference to his trip now. I bet they "let" him go now to keep him on ice and gaffeless in the run up to the convention. All we'll see are carefully orchestrated pix, though I doubt Michelle is the type to dance with him on the beach wearing a swim suit<g> I'm sure BO is loved in Hawaii. I wonder if anyone will snap a pic of him smoking a j on the beach.
