I keep looking tat solar because: solar powered technology matured in recent years. It is getting cheaper as more capital is thrown into manufacturing it.

I have travelled the world and seen what is required.

There is one billion people market out there. We sold mobile telecoms to them in the bush countries already.

My view is: Housing will move from brick and mortar that we still do it in Brazil and will go beyond the way the do in the US into a brand new way of construction to build for the shirtless one billion that is out there.

That's what caught my atention of IKEA article. It comes near what I envisage:

A flat pack assembled with solar pannels at the roof and voila! a house with electricty without a need for an electricity grid. Those billions of people without proper housing at the margin of the society -at the right price- will buy that in the next 30 years.
