In the light of all this data, which I am well aware of, the actual case that Russia's role in the two breakaway regions of Georgia is that of a peacekeeper. If Saakashvili needs a nudge he should be given a firm poke in the ribs to comply. That way we can all be seen to look humanitarian yet keep a firm eye on the essentials. It would be good for Russia to consolidate some power in its democracy and reign in some of its extremist movements. Full play is being made by the extremists of the SO attacks, and are all volunteering for front line duty to honor their nation.
