There´s one nasty thing with the coming EUR crisis. Europeans feel the wrath of imported inflation, for the first time in years on top of its homemade price runs. That puts le frog into a difficult position. As the EUR approaches 1.40 something, he will be forced to hike when he doesn´t want to.

That all happens amid Europe wide slowing, where hiking the rates is usually not the medicine one wants to prescribe. While the idea to stay pat was good; it deprived the currency of any rate driven fantasy it might turn out evil when it comes to inflation fighting.
