I think Obama is more of a pragmatist than a leftist, which is pretty much what McCain is too. My BIG problem with the U.S. Government is these "borrow and spend" policies that keep driving us deeper and deeper into debt. Clinton and Bush Sr. actually recognized that problem and tried to do something about it. When I figure out which of the two guys currently running will do the best on that issue, then that will be the guy I'll vote for. And DON'T automatically tell me it's McCain because McCain seems to have fallen into the "No taxes on Anybody" quagmire that got us into this mess in the first place..
