It isn't just these people, though. It is liberal philosophy that has been such a failure.

We know, through empirical results, that the ONLY thing that has ever worked has been strength and power. Going and talking nice to foreign governments has never worked.

If one looks back at Kennedy, he stood up to the USSR in a huge way. Now, Kennedy knew that Kruschev was serious -- Penkovsy had already told the CIA that he was planning nuclear strikes against the United States. But Kennedy was strong and didn't mince words -- and there was no doubt that the blockade was going to be backed up with whatever military force was required.

The Kennedy liberals are long gone. Today, the far left has a chokehold on the Democrat party. Just consider their last three presidential candidates -- Gore (a pretty bad liberal to begin with), Kerry, an extremist, and now an ultra-extremist.

This is about the self-destruction of the Democrat party.
