Hello TJ,
I remember at the time, early Nazi friends in the US were the DuPont family, also an organization called Social Justice, headed by a Catholic priest named Coughlin. The British upper class almost unanimously approved of the Nazi movement. In Norway there was a very rich industrialist who was friendly to Hitler and the early Nazis. He was hanged after the war, for collaboration. DuPonts didn't collaborate during the war so they escaped punishment.

Mrs Simpson ?

news.bbc.co.uk

This is a subject already extensively covered on SI. We know who supported the Nazis -g-

There were also lots of communists amongst people who were well connected. They caused problems during the cold war.

Some other historical friends chip in on Georgia invasion.
