Hello TJ, I remember at the time, early Nazi friends in the US were the DuPont family, also an organization called Social Justice, headed by a Catholic priest named Coughlin. The British upper class almost unanimously approved of the Nazi movement. In Norway there was a very rich industrialist who was friendly to Hitler and the early Nazis. He was hanged after the war, for collaboration. DuPonts didn't collaborate during the war so they escaped punishment.
