Sure looks like short covering on the USD ,,,,,
Still hard to picture the USD sustaining any enduring strength when you factor all the credit risk that has to unwind in the US economy.

I have a unique interest in the USD / Euro value
and struggling to forecast the future values of these two currencies. slowdown in both economies but US has the bigger credit bubble.

If the US slows down,,,, by nature, US purchasing of foreign goods will slowdown which could be , in a odd way, supportive for the US currency.
