Seems you are right and the company engineered the ability to pump oil from the Mediterranean to Eilat. Looks like they could pump about 300,000 barrels a day through the pipeline. I also didn't know that the existing jetty in Eilat could accomodate such large ships in theory. I've been there and it doesn't look very impressive. Check it on Google Earth. Scheme still sounds nuts but maybe the costs work out somehow compared to going around Africa.
