We came pretty damn close during the cuban missles crises and we had a first class president then. Ever see 13 days with Keven costner? That was based on the actual transcripts. Real scary. Curtis Le May (crazy head of air force) wanted to bomb russia in cuba. Kennedy over rode him, thank god. That would have started a nuclear war! Billy Kristol (supreme neo con and stupid as a post) is calling for more action to defend Georgia. Exactly how, and what kind of action, does he think we can do without risking nuclear war?? Russia holds all the cards and can make things very difficult for us in th emiddle east. Which I expect him to do given bush's tendency to cowboy diplomacy instead of thinking things through. Those stupid missles bush wants to put in eastern europe sure didn't help things. Russia is just pissed about it and INTENDS TO RETALIATE over it. We were willing to risk nuclear war to keep nukes out of cuba, but bush thinks russia should be fine with our putting nukes in russia's back yard. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
