georgian president was on a conference call when russian bombers made a run over the capital, ostensibly looking for him. Iraq reference is right on. Putin is giving us back our own medicine including trying to drop a bomb on "evil leader".
By the way i think this georgia thing might have some influence on voters. McCains one sound bite was very belligerent. I dont think americans are willing to go to war for four million Georgians.

Also why the fuck is Bush at the olympics cheering swimmers and naked volleyball players? Does he think this is his job? And also why the hell is beach volleyball an olympic sport when baseball and softball are being dropped? A sport my ass--beach volleyball was a game invented by hippie californians and maybe aussies. Yeah i watch the gals too. Its a diversion from watching the war in europe.

"Anyone believe Putins warning about Kosovo now?"

It goes beyond that. Putin is comparing the Georgian president to Saddam, complete with accusations of atrocities. Which means they are on their equivalent of Operation Iraqi Freedom...

Russia has now invaded Georgia from the other breakaway province and have captured a military base in the west.

Like a cat, Putin has been waiting to pounce on the mouse, I mean Georgia.
