It's not morally equivalent. Georgia has democratically elected leaders, while Iraq was a brutal dictatorship.

Obama initially made the same mistake, with his kneejerk appeasement of Russia. Then he backtracked and corrected himself..his amateur foreign policy status was apparent yet again.
