C2,I have a concern that quick and easy victories usually means "ahh,that was easy let's do that again!" Russia will cruise thru this tiny country.
I feel the main cause for the blunder in Iraq was with the ease with which the first war in Iraq went.Looking not too far back in history Germany fell for this balm in the quick and easy victories in western Europe.Soviets had their easy kills in East European nations.
My thinking is Europe is dependent on Russian gas and is too weak anyway.The US is dumb struck that "partner" Putin had his own agenda and not Bush's.
It's beginning to look like the 1930's again,including economic melt down that started in US then and now.
We have a saying in Vegas.. the story's the same only the names have changed.(35 years in gaming makes for hard edged outlook) I respect your even and calm rationale,so what do you think?
