You can point to it as many times as you like. At best at the core level Nehalam(Ci7) is to Penryn(C2) as Barcelona (K8L/K10) is to Brisbane(K8). Expecting anymore is unrealistic.

mas, how would you know? You have no inside knowledge and all the details aren't out yet. For you to make such claims is foolish, at best.

Fair enough, but that's a far cry from claiming that the changes are minor or non-existent. :-)

From a performance perspective, I would expect much more, given that a few of the improvements are huge 1-time adders (improved latencies via IMC and Hyperthreading, to name two).
