It's a fact that in 1993 the Russians armed the Abhazians who proceeded to massacre the Georgians living in Abhazia. Georgia always considered Abhazia to be part of Georgia. But the Abhazians thought differently. Georgians that could do so all fled from Abhazia tp save their lives.
