I've often wondered what those components are, other than native IQ and learned behavior. There are other dimensions and characteristics of human thinking than what is described in MBTI. Most people seem to have an uncanny ability to self-select in finding associations - birds of a feather. Sexual attraction seems to often lead this instinct astray, being that other aspects come to the fore. Many seem to show far more compatibility instinct in choosing friends than mates. .
