Saville thinks POG may decouple from US$ very soon: 321gold.com Also POG and PM producer stocks can rise with a rising US$ like in the 2nd half of 2005. At some point the factors other than US$(that you point out) will start to affect POG. Hopefully in only a matter of days. DT

Is oil the root of all price inflation ;o) .. What if the 200DMA does not hold ? Will we still have price inflation is oil stay in the 100 range.. My thinking is that the LT charts of things like SU, COS.UN, ECA etc etc etc can withstand a solid whack and still be in great shape.. just thinking out loud.. 5% not cash today, been scalping with 25% and ignoring the rest.. ... :O) I never nail the bottom except by selling just before the turn.. so I'm being patient.
