>> McCain won the issue but its embarrassing that bush once again looked like he did on 9/11 and during Katrina.

Has nothing to do with Katrina. The federal government performed as it should have in Katrina -- it was the state which failed.

While he was bashed for the "deer in the headlights" stare on 9/11 by Micheal Moore and other liberals, the reality is that most people thought Bush performed very well on 9/11.

One thing is certain -- while most people believed America would be attacked again in the near term after 9/11, it hasn't happened. Bush has done what was necessary to protect the United States from further attack, and I don't think Clinton, Gore or Kerry would have been capable of doing the same. (Almost everyone, including many liberals, breathed a sigh of relief that Bush, not Gore, was elected on 9/11, a sentiment that holds true even today for the thoughtful amongst us).

Bush has done an excellent job on 9/11, did all that should be expected on Katrina, but definitely blew it on Georgia, no doubt about that.

Again, i dont expect obama to look confused 8 years into his presidency.

Michael

If you want to be more informed about Obama, I recommend you read this well-researched book on the subject:

amazon.com

If you read the reviews and sort out those that are obviously just politically motivated, you can clearly see that this book is well regarded.

I believe you could use some independent thought on this subject. I can appreciate that you don't accept what *I* have to say, but this book is well-written, well-researched and documented, and addresses many of the issues you seem to be missing about Obama's lack of experience, competence, and accomplishment.

That's just if you REALLY want to know the facts.
