I was supposed to testify today or tomorrow against a gang member. Oddly enough, the gangsta was complaining against a friend of mine, whom he had arrested. I am not afraid of gangs and don't expect to live forever, anyway. But, this morning, when the judge threw out the case against my buddy without me having to appear, I was pretty happy.

Dodged a bullet. And I hope that's figurative. <G>
