dma, the market became an asset bubble.....

two years ago inflation was not a problem...look at it now.

also after 1929 there was an exudus of european gold(remember the earlier posts and the problem england faced with its gold being invested in america)

US reserves were drained...gold needed to be attracted back.

the normal answer would be higher interest payed on that gold.

that meant higher rates to consumers.

instead of rate hikes we ended up confiscating private gold.
