If you like what Lincoln said then you'll realize Bush is just another Lincoln.

Assuming you accept the chimps definition of an enemy as anybody who "isn't with us", and that includes most Americans in addition to most of the rest of the world.

Comparing this idiot to Lincoln is a fools errand.

"...If you like what Lincoln said then you'll realize Bush is just another Lincoln..."

bc, i hope you don't mind that i went back for this one. i've begun to wonder about the public attack on lincoln. why now?

my guess is that this is a clever Rep tactic. seems likely that voters are linking obama-the-savior to lincoln-the-savior. so to destroy this connection, Reps create a public play to sacrifice lincoln. if this carries forward, u.s. culture might discard the up-by-the-bootstraps myth.

this would hurt obama's image. it would also be a blow to lower and middle class hope. this campaign will get uglier and uglier...like u.s. financials. bwdik
