Numonyx wants 50% of its rev to come from NAND via JV with Hynix (currently 10% of rev is NAND): in.reuters.com

It's likely that Numonyx will have to spend spend real dollars on increasing their share of NAND production in the JV with Hynix. This means there's less capital left over for NOR. This might well be why they hooked up with Elpida for NOR production on 300mm wafers.

I really don't see them start equipping their M6 Catania shell in Italy anytime soon, maybe never.

Also, they'll have to split time and dollars for using different technologies and different partnerships both short and long term.
