What does Pelosi have to do with lowering the price of gas??? Isn't she blocking drilling the OCS???? Cindy Sheehan?????? Who are you listening to??? "Democrats are causing Americans to throw away 777 million dollars a day just because Pelosi is afraid of Cindy Sheehan...." That's equal to 4,625,000 barrels a day at $4 /gallon...or 21% of the countries daily consumption. Where are we going to get 4.625 million barrels a day that we don't have to buy???? That would be a doubling of current production, something that hasn't happened in the last 40 years... "Americans use 368 millions gallons of gasoline per day." That's 8,761,000 barrels of gasoline a day.... in fact, we import more than that....ie 15.4 million barrels of oil day and if your number is correct that means 57% of a barrel of oil becomes gasoline..... How many ANWR's do we need???? (at 670,000) barrels a day? My point is this, quit trying to convince the public that we can drill ourselves into oil independence.....we can't and never will.... Face this also, the world's oil production is at or very near peak.....
