Few places have the infrastructure to deliver HO to homes like in the Northeast. Also expanding ng distribution in the NE has been an obstacle.

I am not so sure it has been very long that HO is more than the delivered cost of NG. I think now people believe HO will never be cheaper than NG.

On the margins this will be a bullish factor each Winter, but I dont think one year of changes is going to make a serious impact on total demand.

There is a large component of power generation, commercial and industrial heating and process load that burns HO in the Winter because they can get enough ng.

I have no doubt that some of that reluctance to change to NJ has been the large out of pocket costs to do so.
I put in a premium system for $6500 but even a lower efficiency, lower output one would have cost a few thousand. Lot's of people can't, or won't, shell that out.
