Received my 1st Obama letter today.

The letter is targeted to women and particularly to women that they are calling "Ms." Hence the campaign is hoping to target women with this letter of a liberal bent.

There is not one woman I know who uses Ms. now days. That went by the wayside years ago-----that was the Bella Abzug era.

The return address was Chicago and mailed from Lansdale , Pennsylvania. (Not from local Democrat party.)

The whole letter, a solicitation letter, has nothing of substance. It is standard political rhetoric of the Democrat Party and of Obama that ends up soliciting up to a $1,000.00 for the campaign----4 pages long.

A SHORT REVIEW OF THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN SOLICITATION LETTER

The first page praises Hillary Clinton, the female connection.

The second page romanticizes Obama's background:

Obama refers to his "father-in-law a city worker in Chicago",

Obama refers to his "American Grandfather's WWII service"

Obama refers to his "mother who had to go on food stamps at one point to send my sister and me to the best schools in the country on scholarships."

For the first time there are two paragraphs that claim to articulate "Change". This is what he considers change.

1. "A tax code that rewards work instead of wealth"

2. "A health careplan that guarantees insurance to every American who wants it"

3. "An education policy that gives every child a chance at success"

4 "Ending a war in Iraq that should never have been authorized, and finishing a war against al-Qaida in Afghanistan that should have never been ignored."

Obama's tactic is to instill fear in voters because of John McCain's honorable service during the Bush administration. Both Bush and McCain are bashed in the letter.

WHAT DOES OBAMA NOT REFER TO:

1. His foreign family background-----his Kenyan or Indonesian father

2. His drug use as a teanager

3. His lack of military experience

4. His lack of international experience

5. His lack of experience in Congress

6. His views on issues such as abortion, reparations, illegal immigration, gun laws, right to work

7. Patriotism

8. And other facts about him, too numerous to name

IN OTHER WORDS THIS LETTER HAS NO SUBSTANCE. IT IS POLITICAL RHETORIC DESIGN TO INSTILL FEAR IN THE READER THAT UNLESS THE READER VOTES FOR HIM ALL IS LOST.

Is that the best Obama can do? Give him and his campaign an "E" for effort.
