It wasn't a PC. It was an X-Box system with God knows what in terms of software abstraction layers to sap performance. So you're comparing apples to toadstools. Again.

Wrong yet again, Pete. Atom 1.6GHz performs like a Pentium M 1.2GHz, as has been reported my multiple reviewers. Since a Geode at 500MHz runs less than half as fast as a modern micro-architecture (being lower in IPC than P4), Atom will be at least 4-5 times faster, if not more in some apps.
