Dems are pursuing reinstatement of the "Fairness Doctrine" in an attempt to neutralize their strongest political adversaries on the air. Poster on another board had a strong retort to Libs efforts to stamp out their competition:

Why stop at political content? Multiple religions must be covered on Sunday morning. The Cartoon Network must show things other than cartoons. ESPN must show soap operas. Turner Movie Classics must show contemporary movies. The Comedy Network must show un-funny stuff. The Big Ten Network must also cover the Pac-10 and SEC. It's all about balance.<
