It is really a pretty ignorant claim to say these people "don't threaten us".

I can understand some people not comprehending the complexity of the Iraqi involvement; it is, frankly, too complicated for some people to "get". But Afghanistan?

No, I don't believe in the "war" on a tactic that can be launched from anywhere. Conventional militaries are meant to take and hold ground, which is something stateless terrorist groups don't need. It's something you wingnuts seem unable to grasp, so blinded are you by the propoganda from your cohorts.
