If people love war, they should pay the price for that. I wouldn't be surprised some of the cultures in US are geared toward a gun culture too. I can imagine some eastern europeans fantasize with wars which screw the young generation in this era. Old people want to screw young generation nowadays so they can join the military without any choice.

It is a cultural issue directly related to this war torn region over the millennia and search of some security.

Since ancient times the Caucasus was a region of clashes between civilization and also a region to search for shelter for those persecuted in the Mediterranean Basin.

In Greek mythology it was counted as the end of the world similar to Gibraltar. As punishment for bringing the fire and wisdom to the people - Prometheus was deported to the Caucasus – to the end of the perceived Greek world etc,. –

The story kind of fitting with today events when Georgia tries to stand against the Russians with modernizing itself – as Prometheus stands against Zeus by giving the knowledge to the people
