Financials may be rising on anticipation of the ARS settlement by the IB's. It may end up being a buy the rumor, sell the news type setup. Once people actually start thinking they may start to realize the ARS market will most likely stay dead and the IB's will end up being stuck with all that stuff. The low performing stuff will sit on their books until they figure out a way to hide it, which they have probably already done.
