CLL is a long term buy and hold. Not even worth trading at these prices.

Compare the costs of what CLL is doing with say deep offshore GOM or Brazil.

For $300 million or so in up front capital costs, CLL can produce via a POD 10k bbls/day of bitumen (10 - 11 API) for 30 - 40 years. No exploration risk.

The economics for 10k bbls/day worth of production in deep water are much, much higher and you have high depletion rates to worry about too. Of course the crude is a higher quality but you won't pump it for 30 years either.

IMO, the market has the CSS and SAGD plays all wrong and am willing to buy, hold and wait.

BTW - NPE received approval for their CSS play in the Peace River a few months ago. Alberta is approving projects but are taking longer then in the past. Algar will be approved.
