Obviously the solution is to eat the tarter fruits. We know from human diet studies and watching actual humans live that those who eat fruits and vegetables live longer, and those who don't, don't. And we know it isn't entirely genetic, because the offspring of healthy eaters when presented with Western diets soon get the same illnesses.

I'll take the fruit and veg plate, but you feel free to eschew.

Something to chew on:

BTW- plants don't hate herbivores. They are in a delicate balance with them. Without herbivores most plants could not spread their seeds. The dilemma for a plant is to get an animal to eat the fruit, without dining on the rest of the plant.

That humans may have bread unhealthy excess fructose in to plants I believe- but hundreds of studies show that those who eat plants live longer, and suffer less of the worst diseases, and I'll take that.
