Ukraine Area is 603,700 SQ KM Produces 12 million tons of grains. This year forecast (for Brazil) is for 143.7 million tons of grain to be harvested...and occupying an area of just 2.3% of the country territory, 199,544 km2, the state of Paraná, (where Elmat lives) answers to 23% of Brazilian grain production. Brazil's farmland increased by 20 percent while its grain production grew 59.3 percent in the 2000-2007 period, official statistics have shown the executive secretary at the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, stated that Brazil should double its grain production within ten years. Ukraine is a minnow.
