The terms pro-life and pro-choice have become code words in the political arenas that mean something entirely different on a personal level to individuals.

Individuals often say they are 'pro-choice' because they don't want the state to have power over decisions related to their bodies, they really mean decisions related to life style. If you factor the problem of pregnancy out (as we now can) we would probably find that there is more to it.

The minute you can take an aborted fetus and put it in an artificial womb, that argument falls away, and we get down to what pro-choicers really care about: not having a kid.

Pro-lifers aren't really about seeing life continue inspite of the attitudes of others. They are as likely to support the death penalty as not, or to support lethal action in war as not. They are really about having kids and traditional community values centered on families.
