Did you notice how the controversy over Obama's church of 20 years was already pointed out in early 2007? Yet the mainstream media broke the story after Obama came into contention during the primaries this year. That was because a video surfaced and the right wing blogosphere went ape shit. The coverage by the mainstream media was surprisingly light. I think they're just waiting for the right moment, if they even need to. I think you are paranoid. BTW note how the right political machine is jumping all over the Reps in the 'gang of 10'. They don't want to drill, they want an issue. The last thing they want is to pass a bill allowing drilling.
