I agree.

Putin is more of a realist than Hitler. He may want to expand Russia's power and its borders, but he's not as wildly dangerous as Hitler was to other countries. Internally he's reducing the freedom of Russians, but he's not going to return to the day's of Stalin, or emulate Hitler.

Don't get me wrong, saying someone isn't Hitler and isn't Stalin, is hardly supporting or defending them.

That's all this about. The Energy Wars started with King Bush's invasion of Iraq. We are at Peak Oil, plain and simple, and the powers that be know it.

Russia is simply doing it's part to lay claim, either directly or indirectly (depending on how crazy Putin is) to the Caspian resources.

Russia may only be the size of Italy as some have mentioned, but don't forget its history and its people.

They are the chessmasters...and they will do everything they can with their Rooks, Bishops and Knights to knock off our Queens...
