Another interesting thing is how the glucose ranges have changed. In 2001 the Reference Range was 70-115. In 2003 the range was 65-109. Last year it was 60-99. I don't know what it was before 2001.

Today if your glucose reading is 115 then you are in the pre-diabetic class. Your doctor will probably have you take steps to reduce that level. However how many people have diabeties today because their doctor didn't warn them because they were in an ok range in 2001 with a 114 number?
