Do you REALLY think this is a BIG DEAL, except to those adolescent enough to be titillated by a mundane affair that is really nobodies business?

It is a big deal because Edwards placed his own interests above those of the entire Democrat party. He was actually running for the party's nomination, KNOWING this was out there, and unless he is totally stupid, he knew it was going to come out.

This is called arrogance. Now, Edwards' arrogance is only a fraction of what Obama's is -- but there is a persistent theme here -- Democrat's obviously have a preference for arrogant candidates.

Arrogance is not a good thing. Why do you continue to gravitate toward candidates who exhibit it?

Congrats, you're in stage six:

Do you REALLY think this is a BIG DEAL
.....

Pattern of Democratic scandals - seen in Clinton-Lewinsky and now in Edwards-Rielle:

1) Too horrible and shocking; it can’t possibly be true;
2) It’s not true;
3) You can’t prove it’s true;
4) Why are you trying to prove it’s true?
5) It’s disgusting that you’ve proved it’s true;
6) What’s the BIG DEAL anyway?

Several things about it are significant:

One, keeps a scoundrel out of policy making positions.

Two, shows how in the bag the mainstream media is for liberals.

Three, shows the shifting nature of liberal "moral standards".

Less significant:

Its interesting the way parties INVOLVED in the affair are using the press. Rielle is obviously providing info to the NE for $, while taking hush money from Edwards. And Elizabeth is getting friends to attack John through People magazine interviews.

And finally, the thought of that sleazy pompous ass Edwards being chased through a hotel with reporters following him, playing tug of war with a bathroom door ... thats both funny and a case of just deserts.
