Well, amen to that. I guess I was thinking back to my age of schooling when teachers were smart enough to teach.

My daughter, Missy, had to do a report on Shakespeare and include some of his other famous sayings..We went through my COLLEGE Shakespeare book and found some interesting lines from other plays. The ignorant teacher gave her a"B" because she said the lines were not from Shakespeare.

I marched up to the school with the book under my arm and went straight to the principals office...not wasting my time on an English teacher who doesn't take the time to at least check out the quotes.

Do you know that dim-witted woman continued to argue with me in front of the principal?

This was right after forced bussing and needless to say,she was taken out of that school right away. Forced bussing was the beginning of the end for our school systems
